Photos of Places in and Around Hua Hin

All photographs taken on these pages were taken with either the Nokia N8 or the Nokia 808 Pureview. While they may not be as good as some DSLR cameras, they take extremely good photos for a “camera you’ll always have with you”.

Yaem Saard School boatsbeach
Yam Saard School is one of two private schools in Hua Hin offering an English curriculum. They have both an English program which teaches most subjects in English but some classes in Thai and the Immersion Program which offers all subjects in English except for the Thai language class. Grades include pre-K, K1-3, Primary 1-6, and Secondary 1-3. Classes are small and each class has both an expat and Thai teacher. There are plans to offer Secondary 4-6 in the future. Tuition, books, lunch, and uniforms run roughly 120,000 Baht/year. Boats too small to tie up at the pier are beached on shore or anchored behind the breakwater at the shore end of the pier. These boats are used to catch squid at night.
