I thought I'd mentioned on other pages how sedate Hua Hin is but I guess
I was too subtle as I've received several emails asking about the availability
of companionship in Hua Hin.
Once again, Hua Hin is NOT like many international resorts in Thailand;
specifically NOT like Phuket or Pattaya. There is nothing like Phuket's Patong
Beach here nor the seemingly endless sois off Beach Road in Pattaya. There's
also little here to compare with Patpong Rd, Soi Cowboy or Nana Plaza in
Bangkok either.
Though there are a few beer bars on Soi Bintabaht, the action is about
as exciting your home town corner bar at mid-day and most of the local talent
spent their best years in the local pineapple fields long before they started
slinging stale beer to the Cheap Charlies on Bintabaht.
If you're looking to relive your youth or sample Thailand's infamous delights,
you'd probably be better off BYOBabe.
Hua Hin's a great place to relax, but if you're after companionship, you
might be disappointed here.
